My name is Aliah, and I’ve been writing stories since the third grade. Over the years, that childhood spark evolved into a deep passion for storytelling, media, and design.
Today, I’m a digital creative, writer, and community leader with experience in web design, digital storytelling, social media, and communications. I’m also currently pursuing a Master’s in Emerging Media and Technology, where I’m learning how to bridge traditional publishing with digital innovation.
For years, I dreamed of attending NYU’s Summer Publishing Institute — and this year, the timing finally aligned.

This June, I will be attending the 2025 NYU Summer Publishing Institute — a prestigious, four-week intensive in New York City designed to train the next generation of leaders in books, media, and magazine publishing.
